It's a popular area. People who bought their homes at a good price have little incentive to move on.

There are a lot more high-end homes in the area. When you have an average home price of more than $400,000, people have more money to spend on luxury homes.

Many of them bought homes from the previous immigrants who had lived in the same area and then had moved on. When the Dan Ryan was conceived and constructed, those people were displaced immediately.

The problem is that all those shares had already risen enough. People who bought them now keep asking: 'Why our stocks are not growing?' - and they are not rising exactly because those people already bought them. The price is high.

It seems the homes that are real popular are the ones that are at the low end of the price distribution. I attribute some of that to the second-home phenomenon.

Today, I've been watching armed security people hired by the rich move valuables out of their homes for safekeeping. Yesterday, we were working in an area, giving out water to people who hadn't seen cold water for days.

It's gonna be a lot of fun, and there's going to be a lot of good music, .. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. . People will have a lot of fun with it. Our show goes with that venue very well. In an area where bluegrass is popular, I think it will be a good event.

The (homes) that are updated are going to sell. They'll move. The ones who won't do that or can't afford to do that, they'd better price their homes to sell.

Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

Look at North Port. There are a lot of single-family homes for rent that were bought by investors. They're on the market for $1,300 to $1,400 a month. But they're not renting. You need two people earning pretty good incomes to afford those prices.

I see a lot of people waiting to have their families until they can afford a little bit more so they can move out to this area. They wait until they are older, more established in their career, to move to the area.

We're still not in a buyer's market. We're somewhere between a neutral market and a seller's market. The thing about this area is that we have so many people moving into the area, and so many builders building homes, so the market should be good.

There are many people in this area who bought their property because of the open area. I am one of them.

People want to move where it's warm and where the coasts are. As long as more people want to move in than homes are being built, we're going to continue to see an imbalance.

Within a few weeks of offering the homes in Cary we sold all the lots we could sell in the grand opening phase. This initial response from consumers shows that KB Home builds what people want to buy. We are changing the way homes are bought and sold in America and we firmly believe this momentum will continue into South Fulton County.
