en You don't want to get caught up watching the standings. It's a tight race and it can shift. Every game from here on out is going to have significance in the playoff race. It's that simple.

en First he is short and then he is tall. He is out of the race to fight C, and then he is in the race to fight C. He's got this Polish guy and a grill salesman in an expensive RV with him running around the state. None of those things by themselves are noteworthy, but you add them all together and you get this real strange picture.

en I'm happy to come away from rounds three and four with two more points finishes and to be leading the Rookie Cup standings. Qualifying did not go so well for me but my race pace was encouraging and I am optimistic for the next race at Oulton Park.

en I have not been animated in my life to fight against race and sex discrimination simply because of my own identity. That would mean that one must be South African to fight apartheid, or a poor white in Appalachia to fight poverty, or Jewish to fight anti-Semitism. Our pit crew also performed well and we didn't lose any time in the pits. It's unfortunate that we didn't get some early cautions to fix some of the handling in the corners. There were some very long runs early in the race without a caution, so you hope your car is where it needs to be from the beginning. Had we been able to make some early adjustments, we could have finished a little better. It's all part of the growth process.

en Al Gore's run a strong race and I congratulate him, but we're smarter and we're better prepared and we're dedicated to continuing the fight, ... But it's a fight about more than Al Gore or me. It's a fight about the kind of America we know we can become.
  Bill Bradley

en I just think his race was phenomenal because he was behind in the race. It's a race that took only six and a half seconds. For him to be behind early, and make that comeback, showed his maturity.
