I didn't know what the heck he was doing. I'd never seen that before. They celebrated like it was six more points, or something. I didn't know what it was until I read the scoreboard to see how many points he got for it.

They were trying to give them some offensive points. Our defensive is always going to stop them three-and-out, and if the fans look up at the scoreboard they can't see that the offense didn't put up any points?

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

We weren't trying to slow him down, we were trying to shut him out. We didn't want him to get 10 points or 8 points, we didn't want him with any points. We threw everything at him and he still scored double figures. That just shows what kind of player he is.

Four points out of that...we've got to be a little bit happy. We didn't make it easy for ourselves. When you get behind on the scoreboard the thing is not to panic and we held together and believed to could do it.

It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

We just didn't play championship-type football when we needed to. At some points we did, at some points we didn't, whether it's on offense or defense. Playing like that, we wouldn't even win a game in the playoffs. We've just got to re-evaluate a lot of things around here.

I didn't expect it to be the game-winner, but I guess we needed it. It's two points and we'll get the heck out of here.

That's why he's a heck of a quarterback. He can scramble and make things happen. He may be the difference why they got the points and we didn't.

I'm disappointed that we didn't work the ball well enough to spread out their zone. We got no inside points because they got every rebound. We usually shoot well against the zone, but we didn't do it. There were no transition points.

You're passing the ball around, getting assists, scoring points, getting turnovers, it's a lot of fun. Especially when you see the points start racking up (on the scoreboard).

These are huge games and these were two huge points. It was right there for us but we didn't get it done. Our power play didn't come through. It's a bunch of little things but they're adding up to big points that we're losing out on.

We turned it over way too many times. It's a shame we didn't score more points. If you hold a team to 17 points you should win. We moved the ball well, we just didn't score enough.

You come into Freedom Hall and hold Louisville to 57 points, you can't say you didn't do a heck of a job. We just made a couple of mental breakdowns at the end. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first.

It didn't turn out as well as we would have liked, of course. We only (had) three points on the board. The defense put us in some positions where we should have put more points on the board, but we didn't do it. We know that we need to correct some mistakes and get better than we were tonight.
