en You have to realize that your work is done by your body, and if your body is in very bad health, it's not going to work for you no matter how young you are. So, I'm a bit of an athletic coach when it comes to trying to respect my body's needs and tendencies, and when I teach students, I try and persuade them of the same.

en During the spring we wanted to give every player the experience to show what they could do in game situations. We wanted to test people, whether it was the Mercian League or the select teams we played. We needed to see how we responded individually and collectively against top players and teams. We were happy to see how we responded as a team.

en We have to learn how to cope with the physical play and against people who will be taller and bigger than we are. We have to put a body on a body to keep teams from hurting us on the offensive boards. We can learn from this game and get better.
