en In Florida we are going to see a team with a lot of talent. We need to be more aggressive, more intense and take more pride in the way we play. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.

en There's a big mind-set difference. The mind-set comes from the way you work and the way you practice. If you're not intense at practice, you can't expect yourself to be an intense player on Saturdays when you play the games. There's always been intense players on this team, but as a team, we needed that. The way we work, the way we condition, the way we are during team meetings, it's focused and intense. And I know it's going to carry over to the football field. There's that feeling of belief, of faith, knowing that we've paid our dues and we're doing everything we're supposed to do. It's going to pay off.

en There's sometimes a misconception that when you play Latvia or the Swiss team or the German team that you're going to blow them out. These countries take so much pride playing for their jersey. The Czech game today, for example. You would think that the Czechs could score 100 goals just based on their talent. But it's just not like that. Everybody fights for their ice. Everybody fights for their space.

en Usually, whatever team is aggressive is going to have success. I thought they were more aggressive. Our strength is our ability to play hard and be aggressive, and when a team does that better than you do, you're going to struggle.

en They're starting to play with a lot of confidence. I think we have enough talent there to be good. Are we ready for Florida State? No. But we don't play Florida State right away, so we have a little time and we need a little time.

en Pittsburg State is always an interesting team to play because they love to control the tempo, and they pride themselves on shooting more free throws than their opponents attempt. Their talent level isn't at the same place it's been the last few years, but they still find ways to win.

en We came out intense and aggressive, ... That was one of the best first quarters I've seen from an Ionia basketball team.

en I love his talent. I really think point guards have so much to learn in our game, when to be aggressive, when not to be aggressive, when to shoot. It seems like he has lost a little confidence in those areas, but talent wise he will be an NBA player for a lot of years. He's just going to have to learn how to fit in a little bit better.

Sundays in this league are like playing Florida and Florida State every week. A two-and-seven team can be as good as anybody you'll play.

en We're a pretty intense team -- we practice 12 to 15 hours a week. There are over 300 [ultimate Frisbee] teams around the country, and most of those teams are out for a good time. We pride ourselves on being a quality team, so we're very competitive.

en We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.

en Our strength is in our athleticism and quickness, and if we could play intense, aggressive defense we knew we could throw them out of their game a little bit.

en Being able to host Florida downtown at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds is big. I really appreciate ( Florida head coach) Pat McMahon agreeing to play us here. It's a great opportunity for our kids and our people to be able to host a team the caliber of Florida . It should be a great matchup. It will definitely be a measuring stick for our program.

en Iowa always brings out the best in every team that they play. They are such an aggressive and such a dominant team that you want to come out here and play well every single time. I told my team that we've got nothing to lose and to just go out and play loose.
