I guess it's fitting it's against them. There was a time early last year where you could see us (him and MacDonald) as the tandem in London this season.

Early in the year she had a hard time knowing when to shoot and when to kick it out. As practice has gone on, I think she's realizing what she needs to do and where to see the openings when it's her shot. I have trust in her, but it's gotten a lot more since the beginning of the season. So I guess it's true that's she's building it up. It's not a conscious thing I think about, but I definitely feel I trust her more than the beginning of the season.

I guess to be a unanimous pick with J.J. seems only fitting since the two of us have been followed so closely this year.

I'm proud of them. They've worked hard. They've seen that we lost by seven points last year to Central. They see that every single day when they come in the dressing room. I put it up there as big as you can. I guess it's fitting that we beat them today by seven.

That year we had that big lead early [in the season], but this year has been a tough fight. That time it was like we were trying not to lose. This year is different.

This is unbelievable, just crazy. We have been talking about this match all year. He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. Last year it was close and they were catching us early (in the season). If it had been early this year, it would have been better. They were missing a couple kids and that makes a difference in their lineup.

We played them real early in the season, but we know they are a scrappy team. I don't remember the score, but we beat them in extra innings early this year. We were able to get a few early runs and get some things going.

We get a lot of breaks early in the season. At the time of the year when everybody is really getting run down and are tired and need a break, we don't get anything.

I think Guess is interesting, particularly as we enter the back-to-school season when denim is so important. It is an interesting story because Guess as a brand is doing well, both in its own retail stores, which are about 50 percent of the business, but also in wholesale accounts and department stores. It is really the one hot brand that department stores have today. Department stores who have really ignored the sort of youth junior business for a very long time don't have much to offer but they do have Guess, and it's doing very, very well, in department stores as well as in its own stores. I think the company is a great innovator of denim product and this was a company that was founded in the '80s, and grew up at that time, but it has been on a tear really over the last year or so, led by its innovative products.

Actually we were trying to start the income tax season a little early. The income tax season is our biggest time of the year.

I guess this is a fitting way for us to end.

We're very early in the flu season this year. We're seeing very sporadic activity in seven states, and one state with local activity, but it's way at the very early stages. So it's difficult to predict how severe the season will be, when it will take off, and when it will peak, and what ultimately the spectrum of impact will be,

We need to be ready to ship our products right away at the beginning of the year, so a show in October or even early November would be much more preferable, where we would know exactly what the orders are. By the time January rolls around, it's too late, which means we have to make our best guess for what we'll need.
