When you go into ordsprog

en When you go into the back end of back-to-back games with eight players, it's tough.

en We just didn't match their intensity, and you can't do that in this league. You know that it's going to be tough on a back-to-back, but we have to be better than that. We've had plenty of back-to-back and understand how tough they are.

en We're definitely getting up with them coming back. The last four games we're playing very well. With our best players coming back, it's only going to help improve our team even more and give us a lot more depth. ... We're back on track and hopefully we can stay like that.

en It was a good win for us. Nobody likes back-to-back games, and we were fortunate to get this win. The Rockets are always tough on us. Most are grind-it-out type games with Houston.

en Well, it's been a total team effort. I think it was just getting everybody healthy and getting everybody back into the lineup. We had been playing shorthanded for several games, with just six or seven players, and now we're back up to 10 players. I think that's really what did it for us.

en I think this is a case where we can't put two games (together) back-to-back. It's a lack of physical and mental toughness - we're just not there. In Region 6 when you can't do that back-to-back, you can expect to get whipped like we did (Wednesday) night.

en Having back-to-back West Coast games is tough on your team, but I don't think we're the only ones to have it, so why complain? If you're a West Coast team and you have back-to-back East Coast games, that's tough, too. You just have to deal with it.

en We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

en We fought back and exhausted ourselves trying to get back in the game. We've got to figure out how to play back-to-back (games). We've struggled with that all year.

en It's tough when you don't play and then it's time to get back in the swing of things. We won 15 games last year and the starters didn't play much at end. That was tough to get back into the flow. We've had four or five games this year that mattered down the stretch, which is why we're playing well.

en She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. He's a big kid. It's tough for a kid like that (to play back-to-back games), just like it's tough for our Jason Martin.

en We have a lot of players back; we lost a couple of key players and we'll have to fill those voids. But when you realize what you accomplished and you're part of history and you have an opportunity to do it back to back, it would be an unbelievable feat.

en A lot of ice bath, a lot of treatment. I'm sure there's a lot of other people that have to do this. This is a long season. Back-to-back games, it's tough.

en They put everything they had into Thursday's game. Even though it wasn't back-to-back, to do two games in three days it's tough when your numbers are down.

en They always seemed to find a way to get the first goal. It?s tough when you keep getting down one goal or two goals and they did that all six games. It?s tough to come back from that. You can do it a couple of times but not in the long run. Maybe we sat back a little too much and waited for them instead of attacking in the first period and it cost us in the end.
