Coach came in and ordsprog
Coach came in and evaluated film and moved a couple of guys, ... but he said he liked my aggressiveness, how I kept my pads low and went after the block.
Jason Davis
[Maybe what Rison needed was a coach like Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs. He's been working his new team into the ground. During two-a-day sessions, the players usually practiced at 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., so their typical day began at 6 a.m. and usually ended with meetings that started at 10:15 p.m.] We haven't taken the pads off yet, ... We started camp on July 25 and we haven't missed a day. I'll watch guys on television and they're practicing in helmets and shorts. We'll be in pads even on the day before the game [a practice usually reserved for a light walk-through session]. This makes the season real long.

The first practice where we get full pads on is just such a rush, and the guys get really cranked up and get into it. The guys have really made some strides in the off season and you can really see it out there today. Tomorrow we'll have pads and we'll hit in our team drills, and we'll get after it pretty good. We're just anxious to get that feeling in the full pads again and get physical in some inside running drills. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. Garnett was special (tonight). We opened up the lane for him quite a bit where he had the chance to move from block to block. He took advantage of the fact that we spaced the floor. They were sending a couple of guys at him - one in front, one behind, and one on top of him. They had three guys on him at all times, so we had to get creative with the ball.
Dwane Casey
We're just working different combinations to see which one is going to be the best. You can't tell with linemen until you get pads on and start to run block and pass block and get all the assignments.
Rich Brooks
ready to film our every move. I had all the vans circle and block their view so they would not have a shot and the jerks moved further up the bridge to get a better look. Four of us held up body bags while four of us got the man in his bag without having it filmed for the world to see. I wanted to go up to them and ask if it would be okay if I came and filmed one of their loved ones being removed from their place of death and splash it all over the world. I have lost total respect for the mass mediia. A poor man being strapped to a pole and decomposing is not news. It is a tragic end to a life and must be respected. CNN bird-dogged us the rest of the afternoon. The Georgia State Patrol guys really wanted to peel off a couple rounds in their general direction - pretty bad considering CNN is headquartered in Atlanta.

I'm going to make decisions on all the starters, ... Again. Later on in the week, after I get a chance to watch the film a couple of times. All the starters will be evaluated, as they are every Monday.

The biggest difference I've seen through (training) camp and through the offseason was just the speed and tempo and also the aggressiveness they have been playing with. There are a lot more guys showing up on film and a lot more red hats around the ball.

You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison.
Rex Ryan
There are a couple of reasons. On a couple of them, they've been overloaded on that side, and that got us into a little trouble. There have been some guys that have just come free, and we need to block better. We will get that straightened out.
Andy Reid
When colleges see film of his last couple of games, there will be more. We moved him to the inside so he can make plays. He covers the entire field. You can't run away from him.
Jeff Carnazzo
We know who to block, and we are lining up right. We just need to work on our aggressiveness.
Coach Jimmy Henry
I watched film from Wednesday's practice, and he's just a really impressive back. He's just tough. He's just a player. He's a guy you can count on. He'll run block, he'll pass block.
Mark Richt
Hey, he's going to vote for his team. He's got a relentless pace. He's one of the guys you have to block until the play is over. Watching film, he's been on my side most of the time, so I expect to see a lot of him.
Walter Jones
He got some film on me and got it to coach (Ron) Zook and the coaching staff, and they pulled a couple of strings for me.
