en Being a local guy and this big a tournament, I think it's pretty neat. The only tournaments that would be bigger than this one is the majors, and usually they're not home events for anybody. Unless you're winning Augusta, I guess. Larry Mize winning there (in 1987) had to be pretty special.

en You can never have enough quality front guys. All you've gotta do is have a couple of years where you're not too good up front to teach you the value of being strong on both lines. It's something we never want to have, a situation here where we are weak up front. That being the case, we probably allot more scholarships up front than other schools for that very reason.

en I'm not a betting man, but if I was, I'd offer anyone who wants to, they take the favorite and I'd take the rest of the field. I think if you look back on it, you'd see the favorite seldom wins.
