It's the worst feeling ordsprog

It's the worst feeling in the world to lose at home. We set high goals, and we're no longer in the driver's seat anymore. But we can go out there and perform our best next weekend. It feels terrible, and I hope we don't feel like this again for the rest of the season.

The squad are obviously disappointed (after last weekend) but you can sense a feeling of resolve there also which is encouraging. We've got to make sure that we take something from the game and push on for the rest of the season. We need to front up when we don't perform well.

This is a huge weekend for us. [Winning two out of three] sets us in the driver seat for the rest of the conference.

I'm disappointed, but I'm not greatly upset. We're just not in the driver's seat anymore in the OCC and I would like to be in the driver's seat.

I remember that last game last year that sent us home, crying when we lost 14-7. That was the worst feeling in the world, so it feels good to finally get them back.

We have set our goals really high all season and this was one of the things that we really wanted. I think we showcased what we can do this weekend. For the last month and a half, our whole team has been on a mission. We have a feeling that making it is not enough; we want it all.

It's big pressure being in first now, but it doesn't bother me. It won't cause me any harm. I think everyone is going to try to knock me off now. I'm in the driver's seat and feeling it. It's just been a great season.

I feel real good about being 6-1. We're in the driver's seat and if we take care of ourselves it puts the pressure on the rest of the league.

It's a compliment to our girls for the type of season we've had so far. I feel like we're deserving of it. We've worked really hard to get to this point. It's a real good feeling to see that the rest of the district places such high value on the season we've had.

Actually, our percentage of field goals isn't terrible. It's not the worst, but recently it's been poor. I couldn't live with what's going on. That last weekend was enough to send everybody over the edge, including the players.

Of course you want to win every series at home that you can, but as the weekend goes on you adjust your goals. After you lose the first one you wanna win the next three, after you lose the second one the goals change again and the goal was to split the series. That's a really good ball club right there and for us to have some success against them is a good sign of what we can be.

We know the feeling of having lost at home. That's the type of pride Dee and I try to take into every game. The other guys have done a great job feeding off of us and kind of understanding it. It's a bad feeling to lose at home, and we hope they never have to.

It feels good to be back home. This has been my dream coaching job and now I'm here. My goals are to help the program become stronger and I look forward to helping our athletes perform well at the conference, West Region and NCAA meets, and beyond. I plan on using the same determination, dedication and hard work in my coaching that helped me set the world record.

We want to take advantage of the opportunity that we're playing at home for the last weekend of the regular season against two very good opponents. What better way to get tuned up for playoff hockey? I see this weekend as being no different than how we're going to have to play in the playoffs. We want to finish as high as we can. We don't know what opponent we'll have, but we don't want to be complacent. We want as many points as we can get out of the season.
