I've never been part ordsprog

I've never been part of such a quick goal from the start of the period. I've seen it a few times by other teams watching on TV and stuff. Seeing it go in was definitely a good feeling.

The first period was a good example. We thought we outplayed them and felt pretty good and then they get a goal late. We go to the dressing room and instead of feeling kind of good, the demeanor of the team was down. That goal played a really big part and it carried over into the second.

The goal at the end of the second period really hurt us. Good teams get things done at key times in the game.

We were doing really well. We had a good start. We were with the teams from the beginning, which was our goal. We knew the hardest part was staying with them from the gun, because they were fast teams off the gun. We managed to do that, but we fell apart at the end. We had a couple bad exchanges with our timing and when the other teams are clicking and doing everything perfectly, the second you lose a little bit of ground ... it's hard to make it up, especially at the end.

He was really good. He was outstanding and gave us a chance to win and it was good stuff. We had a really good start to the game and then we were killing penalties in the first period and that?s when we really needed him. ..In the end, we needed him again. It?s good for him to make him feel part of the group again.

You don't want any team to feel they have that advantage. Once you start winning consecutive times like that, teams start feeling you can beat them every time.

First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes.. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. . There are two things that really concern me right now. Against the good teams we lose the special teams game and when you can't kill a penalty, that's a big concern.

... I use that stuff now even more than ever. A lot of times when you first come in, you're getting by on your speed or your athletic ability. When you start to lose that, that's when you start going to that kind of stuff. At that time, those guys were using that stuff and I was lucky to pick it up at a young age.

I've had a good crack but if I don't win another two or more before I retire I would still feel I had underachieved. What motivates me is to keep winning. To be part of teams that win things, the hour after the game, the night of celebration - it is the most incredible feeling you are ever going to get in your life. I have had it quite a few times but you never get enough of it.

It's a tremendous feeling. It's a very, very good feeling. Our goal from the start was to win a championship. It was a long road back to the finals.

Having a lot of veteran players will be a big help to us. We get a quick look at Section 2 teams with three straight games right at the start, but that's good for us to play teams that are so strong.

We get an early goal and we think we're on the right track. Then we give up two quick ones. Our second period was definitely the period that killed us.

The first period, we were not very good. It was our worst period of hockey in a while. The second period we turned it around and the goal we did get was a short-handed goal.

Right off the bat, we should have probably scored the first couple of times we had the ball, and we didn't. Then teams start thinking they're in the game and all that other stuff. We just have to get better.

If we don't bear down and start feeling good about ourselves or start looking ahead to that, that's when those teams surprise you. We still can play a lot better.
