When a team shoots as well as they were... it's hard to beat them. That's about all you can say about that. We were down 14, cut it to 5 and had the ball several times, but just lost the handle on it.

Asia (Jenkins) had a tremendous game and it's hard to beat a team that shoots as well as I thought they did tonight. They played the better game.

Our guys battled hard and beat a team that won the Stanley Cup (in 2004). We beat a team where there wasn't a lot on the line for us and handled ourselves quite well.

It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

They have an excellent basketball team and some great players. We played hard, but we just don't have much depth. They are just a hard team to beat and obviously are a top 5A team. They have all the pieces for state title.

We realize it's going to be even harder to win because everyone out there wants to beat us. The way I look at it, any team can beat us and anything can happen out there, so the team that we face each week is our biggest threat. Our quest is to repeat as champions. To do that, we have to take it one game at a time and continue to work hard.

We have got to play hard and we know we have to play our best to beat them. They beat Lima Christian by ten and we beat them by two. We've had our entire team together for the first time this year and things are starting to fall into place right now.

When they shoot the ball they have a chance to beat anybody. When Kelley shoots it the way Kelley shot it tonight, they're very difficult to beat.

I made the comment at the time that he was better in person than he was on tape and I thought he was pretty good on tape. He runs hard, he's extremely competitive. ... He shoots over his left shoulder, he shoots over his right shoulder. And he's got a lot of quickness. He, along with Sylvester Seay, are two impressive freshman athletes. He is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
