en You know what, it doesn't matter where are in the world, all the club owner cares about is whether you fill seats. So I'm going to promote it here, locally. People have friends in New York or they might be there or might even go.

en That's the real gamble these days -- the club seats. There are teams that wind up turning their club seats back into regular seats due to lack of demand.

en All emergencies are local and it doesn't matter what the federal stockpile is, if it doesn't get out locally it doesn't matter. And it's the local health departments that have to get it out.

en Once we get out there on game day, who cares what people said on Monday or Tuesday? It doesn't matter.

en I never worked for a better owner in baseball. I've worked for a few -- Charlie Finley, Ted Turner, Ray Kroc, Ewing Kaufman, Marge Schott. Jeffrey has been the best owner I've ever worked for. He let you do your job. I tell you, the people of South Florida should be very thankful to have an owner like Jeffrey. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. He has such a tremendous desire to win. He has said that so many times. He's one owner who has talked the talk and walked the walk. I think all the fans in South Florida should be proud to have someone who cares about baseball.

en The challenge is to really empower people to voice their values and concerns and get them to talk to their friends, their families, their neighbors and the people that represent them. That is really where the Sierra Club is now moving: more locally, getting individual citizens reconnected to their communities, and helping them really take responsibility for the future of the environment. Not just nationally but in communities where they live.

en It's sort of like in New York - people always say with all the talent we have, we should make it to the World Series, right? But no matter how you look at it, talent doesn't win games, performance wins games. There are a lot of people who are talented who don't necessarily perform.

en I think she has been so sheltered with all of us and our friends and with all the love that she has been given. I don't think that any negatives matter because she is so positive within herself. She doesn't see what other people see when they look at her. She doesn't understand why people say the things they do.

en I'd rather promote New York than anything else in this world because New York to me means the world.

en All around, it's going very well. We're still pushing to get the word out there locally to get some people in the seats. I would have hoped there would have been more interest in those first two games, but we have found that people really like what the see once they get to the game and we're building on that.

en I've known [Greenhill] since Congress because he cares about the conservative movement, ... My fundraising in New York is an association of personal friends through different chapters of my life.

en With this club, it doesn't matter where you hit. You're going to have people on base, one through nine.

en He said to me, 'Michael, from now on you have responsibilities to promote this game around the world.' And that's what I'm doing. I think it's important for guys to go around the world and promote this game. I want to share my success with people from different parts of the world.

en The overall number of seats doesn't change. Those are pre- and post-game seats, not baseball seats. But we think it's worth the investment.

en At least he's speaking for the fans. Every fan in (the) stands that night wanted to go up and yell at that team. He did it. That's the sign of a good owner, an owner who cares. We need more owners like that.
