en Teams go through ebbs and flows during the season. It's rare that a team goes start to finish constantly climbing.

en We've been getting 40 players out to training sessions and we've had to start a second team this season. There is a real buzz around the club. All we need now is to get WRU status and we could think about climbing up the leagues.

en If you're worried about conditioning your team so you can start preparing your team, you are at least one step behind. If they report in shape, you can start working on being the best team you can be as opposed to getting them in shape. We feel that this is a step in the right direction.

en We went down to the Slam Dunk with a superstar [Jamison] and high expectations for the season. We had a rough start. We had a team meeting in a cold gym that night when we got back. The guys made a recommitment to play harder as a team. I challenged them to become a team and not to do what you want as individuals.

en You have to look at the next game. You can't start looking back at what-ifs. We understand who we are as a basketball team, and we're not a great basketball team. We're very short-handed, so we've got to be overachievers. I've been happy with way the team has competed.
