en That was a really good win for them. I thought going into singles we had a ton of momentum.

en We came out and lost a doubles point, which gave momentum to Marquette. But we battled especially hard in singles and were able to pull out four of the six singles matches.

en We came out flat in doubles and Missouri State just used that momentum into singles. Sergio and Andrei won again, and that's a bright spot for us, but we need more people to step up. Two singles wins is not enough.

en It was good to find somebody who I thought would be in a similar place. As it transpired, I was misinformed. I thought they'd be a bit darker than they were, but I was impressed by their singles 'Darts of Pleasure' and 'Take Me Out.' And though they were quite light, they did it in a good way.

en It's a good place for singles to find fellowship. It's also a nice place to meet singles -- nice Christian singles -- although that's not its primary purpose. Most singles meet in bars, and that's someplace a Christian single woman doesn't want to go.

en Taylor doesn't have a weak spot in its singles lineup and Western is very strong at Nos. 1-2 singles. Those are good teams and we're playing well too. [The sectional] should be fun.

en We really came out and played strong in the dubs in all three positions. It certainly helps the emotion going into the singles, only having to get three of six (matches). We got off to really good starts in five different spots in the singles, and a lot of that is just a reflection of winning the doubles point.

en We played well against Leander High School (10-1) and I was pretty happy with the results. With Leander Cedar Park (10-0), I really felt like that was going to be a close match and we were up 7-0 after the doubles. That's hard to beat whenever you come out that well and our momentum carried us right through the singles. That was a good win.
