All of us have seen the pictures of devastation along the Gulf Coast, and our hearts and prayers go out to those families-- especially to the people of New Orleans, which so recently hosted our National Biennial Conference. Like all Americans, we want to help, and we plan to do so by getting additional officers down to the affected areas.

This holiday card is a great way to inextricably link the hearts of New Yorkers with those of the people in New Orleans. The effort will have a great impact on the residents of Louisiana, as people in the affected areas see how much their friends up north care about them. It's a great gesture and we're proud to be a part of it.

We've watched the TV and seen everything that has happened in New Orleans, ... But this has affected [many areas]. I have seen photos, and it is horrible all around. There is not a place left standing.

We are making steady progress as we gain access. Most customers will be restored within 30 days. However, some communities may take longer to rebuild in certain cases depending on when residents and businesses are able to return to these most affected areas and the time it takes to rebuild needed local infrastructure. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. New Orleans is an atypical situation given the floodwaters and access issues, and because of this, we will track restoration activity in New Orleans separately.

The situation is improved, although it is still very much a chaotic situation in New Orleans and the areas that have been affected.
