What people are doing is escaping the winter grays. They can take off their coats, walk into our rain forest and suddenly it is 85 degrees and you are surrounded by lush foliage.

I wish I could trade in my eyes.

There is nothing more alone than being in a car at night in the rain. I was in the car. And I was glad of it. Between one point on the map and another point on the map, there was the being alone in the car in the rain. They say you are not you except in terms of relation to other people. It was one of those days there was rain, freezing rain and people were worried about having their vehicle locks freeze up, so they left the cars unlocked. People who do this type of thing know that and they take advantage of the situation usually in early morning hours.
