Iran is a worry, but I have a lot of worries in the oil market right now. There are many economic and geopolitical question marks.

Iran worries are moving the market. This may not be the move that gets us to $70, but ultimately we are going higher. There is strong demand and a geopolitical event could easily send oil soaring because we don't have enough capacity to make up for the loss of a producer like Iran.

We've had a tug of war between fundamentals and geopolitical worries. It doesn't look like Iran will take any action soon, so the attention of the market is tilting to the inventories. There's a surfeit of oil available on the world market.

The IEA report confirms the bearish sentiment in the market. Inventories are more than adequate, but geopolitical worries have been supporting prices. Iraq is the main worry. We've broken important technical support levels in the last couple of days as the market worries about growing geopolitical tensions.

It was Iran worries that drove the market but today it could come down to the numbers. The Department of Energy report may actually be the deciding factor as to whether or not these price levels are justified at this time or whether or not the market has one less worry.

The economic news today wasn't good -- obviously it leads to worries of inflation. But that should have been expected, with oil and metals trading higher. It has to translate into inflation. The market continues to drift in a sea of uncertainty -- the geopolitical issues are still the main concern.

It will take some strong earnings and bullish forecasts, as well as positive economic data, to keep the rally going. There are plenty of economic data and earnings releases to sway market opinion from hour to hour and day to day. Behind it all, there is the rising threat of geopolitical tensions with Iran and higher interest rates out of the Federal Reserve.

Everything else looks to be very solid. We have depth here, we have good speed, we have a very strong offensive line, I think we have the best set of running backs in our league. I'm really pleased with our linebackers, our secondary and our ends. But those question marks are big question marks. It's an older team with some question marks because of inexperience at just a few spots. I think it's a hard team to figure. How good can we be?

The Iran-U.N. row and potential for economic sanctions reminds us that geopolitical situations remain a key factor in giving support to oil prices.

We need Iran to use maximum transparency because there are a lot of question marks about its program. They need to be assured that they can use nuclear power for electricity, but the international community needs to be assured that the Iran program is exclusively for peaceful purposes.

Investors have been climbing a wall of worry because of uncertainties about political stability in Iraq and saber-rattling in Iran. Those worries have sent crude oil futures to record levels and gasoline has followed.

The traders are looking at the geopolitical risk in Iran. They are worried that if the U.S. attacks Iran at some stage, it would impact crude oil prices in the future, so they don't want to sell.

The investment dollars are coming into the energy market as people look for a hedge against the Iran worries. The momentum makes reaching $70 inevitable.
