There is community interest on the status of the cleanup out there and the implications to our neighborhood. There are lots of kids here, any parent living this close to Rocky Flats would ask about the risk.

It is imperative that we have confidence that the cleanup at Rocky Flats meets the standards agreed to by the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the State of Colorado,

Living abroad can be hectic and when a parent needs help, the sense of isolation can be profound. Parent Care helps the adult children take care of their parents' individuals needs as effectively, and actually even more so, than if they were living close by.

We have lots of exposed mud flats, ... but we will be closing the dam to flood those flats and facilitate boating a little more for fall recreation.

The neighborhood is prime Beverly Hills Flats. It's a wonderful family neighborhood.

The risk-hazard distinction is huge and it has lots of implications.

When I was younger, living in an all-black neighborhood the other kids thought I was better than them because of my light skin and straight hair. Then we moved to an all-white neighborhood and that was a culture shock .. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. . I'd been used to being around all black kids.

I never thought about the world that kids live in and what's available to them until my daughter was born. It's kind of a rocky road out there from a parent's point-of-view.

Going from an agricultural zoning of a minimum 10 acres to one acre lots is a huge change. It's more in the best interest of the developer; it's not in the best interest of the community.

There will be lots of information that we will provide. We'll have a Web site. We'll be available to meet community groups and neighborhood boards.

Ultimately what the Elian Gonzalez case stands for is the right of a parent to speak for and raise a child ... irrespective of the parent's nationality, ideology or economic status.
