You've just got to hang in there. It's baseball, that's just kind of the way it works sometimes.

It was kind of weird. I thought it was a bill collector. I was ready to hang up until he asked, 'Is this the guy who plays baseball at Fort Hays State?' Then I became interested.

The whole steroids issue is just a blight on baseball. I think baseball brought it on themselves. They were the last ones to really put into place any kind of comprehensive testing program. As it is, people still think it falls far short of what it should be.
