We give out more certificates than are used. One of the reasons is that some people don't get around to making the appointment for their animal. The certificates are good until March 31, but that does not mean the coupons have to be used by then. The appointment just has to be made by that date. We have vets doing the surgeries in April, May and sometimes as late as June because they get so overwhelmed with appointments after Spay Day.

It's cheap and it's fun. And we're going to have baskets with free stuff in them, gift certificates and all that, that we'll have a dollar-drawing for. Anything we can think to do to make some money to put back into the program, we're going to try it.
