Everybody loves the David and Goliath story, but most of the time nobody cheers for Goliath. So when people asked me if I resented what Jim and Billy said, I said, 'Absolutely not, I loved it.' Because it motivated our guys and it created interest. So much so that we've become a media darling.

en David and Goliath. I didn't think Roger was at his best, to be honest with you. But I think it is a thrill for us to beat him. I think the guys have got to feel good about themselves. He's a Hall of Fame pitcher, and we beat him.

en And that becomes the justification or the rationale for violence. Often attached to that or married to that is the catharsis of violence, in other words, the satisfaction they feel of the David against a Goliath, the weak striking out against the powerful.

en It is a David and Goliath battle, It's always been that, and that's what it's always going to be.
