I hope Tiger comes ordsprog

en I hope Tiger comes back for morning play. He's got to go to dinner somehow, guys.

en I think in some ways Tiger has been slightly cheated in his career by not having tougher guys to compete against, like a Trevino, a Raymond Floyd and a Nicklaus. On Sunday, if Tiger went up against those guys, he'd know deep down, 'These guys are going to kick my butt if I don't play my best.' And I don't believe he thinks that way now. He knows if he's playing good, he's got it.

en I don't go to dinner with ... maybe 99% of the guys on Tour, so why single Tiger out? ... I never have had a drink with Phil Mickelson. Why doesn't anyone talk about that?

en He's definitely on the right track. It seems like Tiger got his focus and determination back this year. Obviously he has another eight to go and he'll have to play great. But never say never with Tiger. I think he has the desire as well as the ability to carry him through.

en We told the guys they'll wake up Sunday morning and it's a new day. I just hope we can get our focus back.

en Tiger would probably be a lot like Roger if all the golf tournaments were match play. Tiger is phenomenal, but he can't stop somebody from doing something. Besides the guys hoping that Federer loses, he's always got the opportunity to stop the other guy.

en Tiger is not playing as well as he did then. Guys like Vijay, Phil (Mickelson), Davis (Love) and me have elevated a little bit, and the gap has closed a bit. I think guys get to the first tee and really believe they can win with Tiger in the field. Golf will humble the best of them and that's where we are.

en They both said they would like to play with each other. I polled all the players and every one of them wanted to play with Tiger. So I had a pool of which ones Tiger wanted to play with and Tiger said he would very much like to play with Fred.

en When Tiger was on the team in Australia (at the 1998 Presidents Cup), he rode on the bus with everybody else, he was at every meeting, he had dinner with everybody every night. He was a perfect team member. I've got great respect for Tiger and I see nothing else coming from him other than what I saw in Australia.

en Against Davis, our level of play went up a notch. The guys got a lot of the jitters out in the morning and responded really, really well in such a short time since we played back-to back matches. I was happy for the freshmen to get their dual matches out of the way. She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness.
