It's totally in the hands of the artists. These are all very popular shows, so no matter what, the good tickets are hard to come by.

I think it's popular for a number of reasons. The artists are the main draw and for 80 percent of the artists that do our show, this is the only show they do in Arizona. The biggest reason people cancel season tickets is tickets in the drawer that aren't used, ... With 81 baseball games that's going to happen. This eliminates that; it reduces no-shows for the game and creates more circulation for tickets, more Giants fans.

A lot of people just stumble in and they're not aware of what they're looking at. When they find out, they're kind of surprised and say, 'Wow, this is really good.' The fact of the matter is a good portion of these artists went to art school. They're trained and it shows. There may an expectation that work won't be as good as your average gallery show because of the population producing it, but I think people are generally surprised and impressed.

We just kind of hustled around for tickets. We never had any tickets in our hands before we went. We'd go on Wednesday and just hit the hotels where the players were staying and stuff like that to hustle up some tickets. We kept trying and we'd get them. You just have to go and hustle. We always managed to get them somehow.

It's good to get information and feedback from your fans on the Internet. But a lot of it is downright mean. There are three or four guys who say they're Vince Neil and people come to the shows because these guys promise them tickets, and when there's no tickets there, they get mad at the band. That kind of stuff bums me out.

Maybe 10 or 12 popular artists have been introduced into popular music since the show's debut, and it's only four seasons in.

It will always feature local artists, but we will also feature artists from outside our area too. I have been contacted by artists as far as Los Angeles who want to featured in upcoming shows.

He got a chance to get his hands on a ball last week, which is big. He was real happy about that and I was as well. He's just a guy who goes out there and works hard every day. And he shows it. He's that type of guy. Whether it's practice or a game, he's out there working hard.

Before opening night those shows had sold 100,000 tickets. For Dirty Dancing 300,000 tickets were sold. We expect the show to run for at least three years here.

Rumors travel fast in Cuba. Artists know I'm there before I get there. It's not hard to find the artists but it is hard to see everything.
