en There will be no excuse for not playing rugby on a pitch as good as this one. Given the playing surface at the Recreation Ground, I am not sure whether there is greater pressure on us playing at home or away. We have a good record against French teams in the Heineken Cup, but the past is no guide to what will happen on Saturday. We are aware of the challenge which faces us.

en Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. As much as you can get a read on someone over a coffee, he came across as an impressive person who is genuinely interested in the challenge of playing rugby against the best teams in the world on an international stage.

en Let there be no confusion, the way forward for Scottish Rugby is for the three professional teams to be the vehicle for driving professional rugby in this country,

en Remember the 2003 Rugby world cup. After that, rugby was supposed to take over from [soccer] as the No. 1 sport, with the entire population playing rugby within a short space of time. But it fades fairly quickly.

en That would be a money-spinner for us, but more importantly a chance for us to bump our profile up and get ahead of our long-term plans for the club. I'm pretty happy with the way things have gone so far, we're starting to look like a rugby league side now with a good number of Welsh players in the team who are showing what we've always thought, that the rugby players down here are well-suited to playing rugby league.

en I think there's definitely something to be said for momentum. Traditionally our starts to the season have been very tough, but it's hard, especially when you're going down south and playing teams that have been practicing in 60 degree weather. It's definitely a challenge, but I think it's a good challenge.

en At this time of year, coaches are always trying to test how good their teams really are, and the only way you can do that is to play in tournaments like the Martin Luther King Classic. We're looking forward to playing Dillard because we know they're always a top team. It gives us all an indication of how other teams across the state are playing as well.

en Playing rugby was mandatory. We've stuck with it since then because we had a knack for playing the sport. I had never touched a rugby ball until that point.

en He said Quayle's the sort who'd be good at rowing or playing rugby, ... I know rugby players. They run hard and they tackle hard, but then they go off the field and they can be quite gentle.

en We're excited to move forward and be one of the 105 teams that's still playing. There are some really good basketball teams in this tournament.

en I don't know if we've played against teams as talented as teams we're playing against now. Playing hard, playing unselfish, doing all the right things, team-wise, is great. ... But it's not good enough to beat good teams.

en It's a tall task, but it's a challenge we're looking forward to. We've played some pretty good teams along the way so we'll just go up there, do what we can do and then enjoy it.

en We're playing some good teams and the games are close, but no wins. It's not fun that's for sure. This is a good test, a good challenge.

en It is going to be a challenge for us to go on the road. Even though we are going to be playing teams with poor records, some of those teams have been playing really well of late.
