en He didn't win the Stanley Cup, but I hope he wins a gold medal in the Olympic Games.

en It was a good win and good experience for a lot of players. I've been told that we finished first in the group, which is nice, but wasn't critical. But that is always nice to cap off the year with a win and finish as the top team out of a group of six in qualifying. That's a great accomplishment for our group. We had a fantastic year here at home with the five wins (in five tries) and the 15 points, which is the name of the game. Great year.

en The wins are nice, coach-of-the-year awards are nice, the hall of fame is nice. But the award of coaching is when you get a wedding invitation from a former player, or when they stop in and talk to you after they've graduated. That's the ultimate, when you know you've had a positive impact on their lives.

en Sierra had seen (Stanley) four times and sometimes a pitcher starts to have a pattern. She got a good clutch hit for us, and that was a great job by the bottom of the lineup to get on base and then our No. 9 hitter wins it in that fashion.

en He deserves support. I just hope it's a great standard match. He's always been a real dangerous player. You never know when somebody comes of age. Certainly watching his wins over the last couple weeks have been great, not only here but also in New Haven. There's no question he's doing something better than he used to. She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. He deserves support. I just hope it's a great standard match. He's always been a real dangerous player. You never know when somebody comes of age. Certainly watching his wins over the last couple weeks have been great, not only here but also in New Haven. en You have to look at the package, his four years in Washington. Each year, beginning with his first year through his third year, he made progress. And then the fourth year did not go well. It just didn't. It didn't go well on the court, it didn't go well off the court. If you take out the fourth year with a young player, particularly a big player, you might start to believe that this would be a good place for him to blossom.

en We came into this year thinking we'd get 20 wins. A lot of people didn't really think we could. But that's not important to us right now. We know we're in the (NCAA) tournament now, but we want more wins. We want as many wins as we can get out of this season for this team. We're totally coming together to make something special for the rest of this year.

en I think it?s a great feeling. It?s an honor to go to a successful team, a team that wants to win. There?s not much more you can ask for as a hockey player then to go to a team that aspires for the Stanley Cup each and every year. It?s a great opportunity for me.

en We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

en It is nice to have guys back that you have coached before. You hope they would teach the younger players the ropes and also how to be a baseball player in this program. They are nice leaders, now I just hope the others follow.

en I didn't think he was going to play in the second half, but the kid's tough, ... He wants to be a great player. He's working to be a great player. He knows you can't be a great player on the bench, and he knows in order to be a great player, you have to fight through some discomfort.

en I hope she wins, ... I think she's a great player, and I'd like another chance against her. There is extra motivation for me ... knowing that I have a chance to play next week.
