Out in the more rural areas of the county, where people are more accustomed to hunters and trappers, there is not typically this type of concern, but this one is right adjacent to the city limits.

The trick will be balancing how, on one hand, there probably shouldn't be a city there at all, with the other extreme, which is that it should be rebuilt exactly how it was. Most people, including myself, think it should be somewhere in between. I think the happy medium could be rethinking flood control, making the city more secure than it is now, but making it so that some areas outside the city, some of the marshy, rural areas, are just left to nature.

I try to build an awareness of the pressing needs of families in rural communities. Society appears to be aware of family needs in urban centers. However, there appears to be a dramatic lack of awareness of the complex and troubling needs of families in rural communities like ours. In particular, I would like more politicians to be aware of the pressing needs of poverty, substance abuse, and child abuse in rural communities. I think most people assume those are only 'big city' problems.

Good will has real value and needs to be nurtured. The city uses water largely to process the crops that are grown on farms. Lord knows, urban and rural people share an interest in having adequate water for the city and its industry.

Take advantage of a lot of shopping, a lot of city life, museums, sports activities. There are cities all across Canada in addition to more rural areas that provide opportunities for more active ... kinds of travel.

I study the science of sleep. We knew the number was high where people sleep on different beds for different schedules and horrible conflicting habits. ... A survey 10 years ago from the Better Sleep Council said almost 1 in 4 would sleep better if they were in different beds. Now 10 years later we see the stats.

I think when we go on the road, it's just us against the whole city. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. You go to a city like New York and Chicago, where we only travel with 46 players and the coaches and the media guys through the organization, less than 100 people. It's us against the whole people, basically ... so I think we see the challenge. I think it brings us tighter when we're on the road because we know we're all we have in that city at that time.
