I don't know if ordsprog

en I don't know if I've ever faced an athlete that dominant in Little League, college or the pros.

en I think in this day and age, you've got to be able to attack with a lot of different things. There are so many good guys out there that can throw and catch, and the evolution of football -- there's so many good ideas. Sometimes, things trickle down a little bit from the pros. Now, the pros don't allow their quarterback to get hit quite as much as we do in college football in our spread offenses and so forth, but I just think because people are so well-schooled on defense, you've got to give them more problems. I think if you have that as part of your package, it can give you a chance. Some of the people in our league do it very, very well.

en I mean, it's tough to make the jump, ... So you know, the person's going to be faced with a lot of challenges, some ups and some downs...I can't speak on behalf of other players, but I can only speak on behalf of myself. And in that situation, you know, it was best for me to skip college and go straight to the pros. It worked out well.

en Athletes who take to the classroom naturally or are encouraged to focus on grades should be able to do well in the classroom. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. I believe the reason you go to college is to get your degree. It's not a minor league or an audition for the pros.

en NFL Europe is a whole new world for college quarterbacks. This is a step down from the NFL, but it's a big step up from college. When you get to the pros, it's hard to get used to how well everyone at every position can run. Quarterbacks make throws into the seam that used to get there in college and now they're getting picked. You get an education over here you can't get holding a clipboard.

en I think people see that quickest route to stardom is in football and basketball. In basketball, you can come from college and go straight to the pros. Football is the same way. In baseball, it takes longer. You have to go through the minor leagues. There aren't that many kids playing Little League baseball. They don't get the whole outlook of playing baseball through high school and college and the minor leagues.

en I know their defense and I've faced John Thornton before, ... I even faced him in college, too, when he was at West Virginia.

en He was a superior athlete in the rec league. He was a superior athlete in high school. And he'll be a superior athlete here. You know how pilots like to fly and doctors like to save people's lives? Well, Xavier likes to play football.

en At a personal level, when I moved from the 1/2 mile to the mile as a college junior, I used the experiences and stories of those milers who came before me for education and inspiration. Don, too, moved from the 1/2 mile to the mile in college, and his 3:58.7, which made him the third-fastest miler ever when he ran it, was remarkable in part because he ran it on the same day that he took a final exam in Berkeley. For an athlete like myself, who aspired to be a student and an athlete throughout my career, Don was and is a true role model.

en Oftentimes, it isn't the best athlete who plays in college. It's the best athlete with the money.

en There's only a handful of great players in the whole league, maybe 10. Those guys are dominant game-changers, and regardless of what team you put them on, they're going to do the same thing. Those are the real Hall of Fame guys. If there was another league after this, they'd be in that league.

en He loves the college life. If he wasn't an athlete and had an opportunity to play professionally, he would be one of those guys who would stay in college and try to get four or five degrees.

en When should a college athlete turn pro? Not until he has earned all he can in college as an amateur.
  Will Rogers

en Everyone questioned his lack of head coaching experience and working in the pros for so long and not be really being equipped for the college life and the college coaching. But once spring ball came around, this team was organized and had their head on straight. I think I knew we were going to be in the right direction.
