Reggie made some catches today [and] that's what we need. Somebody to make a play to keep the chains moving.

I was really pleased with the way we made some big plays offensively. Dwayne made some nice catches and [Davis] made some nice catches. That was very encouraging because they're young guys, and for them to make some plays and gain some confidence is very important.

He made some catches as an outside receiver, ... He made some big catches inside. He really is starting to come into his own. He's got to play like that every week and practice like that every week because he's definitely got the deep speed.

One of the best things to happen to me in my career was having an opportunity to play with Reggie White . And I think the way I handle myself today, the fun I try to bring to this team and the intensity I try to bring, not only in games but in practices, meetings and things like that is from Reggie White . No doubt about it. What a great player. And it's a great honor to say I played with Reggie White .

I don't know if Reggie would have flourished in any other city but here. The fact that Reggie, without cameras, without newspapers, without anything, would go to kids and their schools, not because he thought it was the right thing to do, but because he needed to do that. We were very solid in the infield today and A.J. Grant made several great running catches in the gaps filling in for a kid who was out of school today sick.

We think he's just as dominant a player on defense as Reggie is on offense. The thing we've been missing has been a pass rush. The bigger short-term impact on our team would be more with a running back. But Mario Williams could play for 10 or 12 years, and he may be the next Reggie White. Green Bay had Brett Favre , but they won a championship when they got Reggie White.

You never know when his big game is going to be, and he has got to stay ready, ... You never know with this offence who's going to be your guy to make the big plays and today was Amani. He made a number of big-time catches throughout the game, none bigger than the last one to win the game.

I'm assuming whoever gets in a good rhythm and moving the offense, moving chains. I'm guessing that's how they're going to do it.

A lot of guys here didn't get a chance to play with Reggie or even get to know Reggie. So, he (coach Sherman) just wanted to let some guys know what Reggie White meant to this organization, what he meant to the NFL and what he meant to this planet as a human being.

In my conversations with Reggie, it is clear he will not play next year. I've spoken with Reggie, and he is fine with it. This will go down as his final assist.
