Error is a supposition that pleasure and pain, that intelligence, substance, life, are existent in matter. Error is neither Mind nor one of Mind's faculties. Error is the contradiction of Truth. Error is a belief without understanding. Error is unreal because untrue. It is that which stemma to be and is not. If error were true, its truth would be error, and we should have a self-evident absurdity /namely, erroneous truth. Thus we should continue to lose the standard of Truth.

Life is an error-making and an error-correcting process, and nature in marking man's papers will grade him for wisdom as measured both by survival and by the quality of life of those who survive.

It looks like a halfway decent line but the fact that I made four mistakes and they jumped all over them for extra-base hits, it's just not acceptable. Those home runs were not acceptable, bad pitches in great counts for me.
Josh Towers
We have to limit our own mistakes and capitalize on their mistakes. When two good teams are playing each other, you've got to be sharp mentally. Every trip counts.
Rick Rudesill
Life, like war, is a series of mistakes, and he is not the best Christian nor the best general who makes the fewest false steps. He is the best who wins the most splendid victories by the retrieval of mistakes. Forget mistakes; organize victory out of mistakes.

There are situations in life to which the only satisfactory response is a physically violent one. If you don't make that response, you continually relive the unresolved situation over and over in your life.

Success tends to go not to the person who is error-free, because he also tends to be risk-averse. Rather it goes to the person who recognizes that life is pretty much a percentage business. It isn't making mistakes that's critical; it's correcting them and getting on with the principal task.

Somebody has to fill in the blanks as to why the response was different, ... We have a traditional response - that a black life is not as valued as a white life.
Ron Walters
We kind of flip-flopped the way I thought it would be. We played methodical, error-free football in the opener against Cabot when I would expect us to make mistakes. Last week, we made a lot of mental mistakes and had missed blocking assignments.
Kenny Smith
He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. After all these years, I am still involved in the process of self-discovery. It's better to explore life and make mistakes than to play it safe. Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.

[UNAIDS presents a more clinical argument.] We deal with the facts, ... And if you exclude any group from the process in response to AIDS, you can never build an effective response. That's the fact.
