Finally, we won a sectional. It was exactly what we wanted. The games have been really close. The Hillsboro girls program isn't known for its success. - It's awesome.

Utah Valley State is an awesome school. When I came down for a visit I couldn't believe how big the campus was. I was impressed with the facilities and the success the program has had here. They have done well in their first few years as a Division I program. I am a Utah native and I wanted to stay close to home. This was a perfect fit.

These are the last games of my career and I certainly want to be in net no matter what the circumstance. There are no words to describe how excited I am. Since I've been here we've always been so close and to finally get (to the Frozen Four) is just awesome.

My girls finally showed what they're made of. We've lost a lot of close games this year. I'm extremely proud of my kids.

The job Scott has done with our baseball program has been outstanding. His ability to relate to our kids, combined with his success as a head girls' coach, makes him an ideal candidate to lead our girls' program.

We finally did what we wanted to do, and he made a big save. But we have to be better on it. We've had some five-on-threes (recently) and our success ratio is poor. It may have been the difference in the last couple of games, for sure.

A lot of these girls got a taste of winning last year when we made it to the sectional finals. I'm hoping that success carries over.

I'm so excited and the girls are so excited. It was awesome. We didn't have to count any falls on the beam. The girls were finally relaxed.

I would pay money to come in here and watch him close games. It's awesome. The music cranks on. It's so much fun. Even when you play for a living, it's a blast. It's electric. The players love it. It makes it so much fun for us. It's awesome.

At sectional, nobody was giving us a shot. Our kids knew through the newspaper and Web sites that nobody was picking us to win the sectional. They have finally bought into the fact that defense wins championships.

It's her choice. She could play in the boys sectional if she wanted to, because the school doesn't have a girls team.

It would be an awesome way to end things this year. We've been so close, it would be great to finally say we won one.

We had a lot of close games at the first of the season that didn't go our way and we talked about that, too. As we get better, we said those games will go our way. For the girls, it's just the confidence. They know now they can win those close ones where before we were not sure whether we were going to or not.

It was awesome. We've had a bunch of guys get real close, but to see him finally get it done is great.

I decided I wanted to help more kids get involved. In 1971, I decided I wanted to teach girls how to score the matches. I think the girls became a very valuable part of the wrestling program. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial.
