The market is very volatile since gold climbed above $600 as speculators are keen to take profits on rallies, while there is plenty of bargain-hunting demand when it approaches $600. His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence.

I think investors are a little more comfortable coming into these blue chips down 30 percent.

The market went through a technical rebound after the two last profit-taking sessions and (picked up again) on some bargain-hunting.

The market seems to have found support at 15,300 this morning. I think the fact that Nasdaq recovered on bargain hunting in some tech stocks in late trade on Wednesday has stopped stocks falling so sharply here.

The increase in oil prices as trading started this morning took away all the incentive to buy stocks. With oil going up again and a Fed meeting tomorrow, investors are being very cautious. Demand today has dried up.

In order for the market to get out of this range-bound trading, we need stocks or sectors that can lead the way ... and steel stocks may assume that role.
