He threw a hell of a ball to me, and I think that sealed the game for us. It got our crowd back into it.

I was really impressed with the way he threw the ball. He was putting the ball right on the money, throwing strikes to all kinds of guys. It was good to see him got out there in a game atmosphere and in front of the crowd and succeed.

They didn't quit. We scored first, we had them down the majority of the game. They were tenacious about it. That's not to say we (gave up). We missed some opportunities. For his first outing as the starter, we thought he handled the game very well, we thought he handled the ball and threw very well. Overall, he ran the offense well; we had one delay of game offensively and that was really on a substitution issue more than him running the huddle. We've been going back to that game quite a bit (studying film), and I think that was my best game, against a good defense too. We threw the ball right away and I was able to get into a rhythm early. With a running offense like we have, you have to put a premium on starting off strong.
