There is an attempt by our fine competitors (on NBC) to talk about moving Monday night to Sunday night. Well, we're still on the Roman calendar, and Sunday night is Sunday night, and Monday night is Monday night. ... We believe we will still be the marquee, stand-alone NFL event.

We know that 'Monday Night Football' is really popular out here because people bet on it. People who lose on the college games on Saturday and the pro games on Sunday try to make it all up on Monday night. That's a major factor in the popularity of 'Monday Night Football' across the country. People who have lost over the weekend try to get back to even. Whether they do or not is another story.

I was very interested in seeing that change take place. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Over the last 30-odd years that we've had Monday Night Football , the culture has changed in America. Monday night is not the same kind of night that it was in the '70s and '80s. People aren't at home. Sunday night is really when you find most people at home.

It's a Monday night game. That's what it is. It's a circumstance, a difficult one to say the least. I think the league has tried to do the best it can with it. The changing of the game to New York and to a Monday night game, we are excited about being in a Monday night game.

Is it still going to be Monday Night Football or is it like Sunday night football on ESPN? ... There was a lot of tradition with that Monday night crew. I'll have to tune in to see if it still gives me that same chill when I hear that intro.

Usually Monday night games are the feature of the week and they try to put the successful teams on Monday Night Football, they want that to be the No. 1 draw, they want that to be a competitive game,

They don't want me to go out there while it's still swollen. They want to kind of wait until the swelling goes down. Good thing we have a Monday night game - we get an extra day. But, I expect to be playing on Monday night ... hopefully.

That means any Monday night our retirees or our members could have their pension arbitrarily reduced any Monday night, that's a very scary thought.

I am really looking forward to being on the show. It will be awesome joining Kenny and Michael on Monday night. I hope we have a great weekend in Texas, so it will give me even more to talk about on Monday night.

When everybody starts broadcasting games the way 'Monday Night Football' did, then 'Monday Night Football' is not as exceptional and unique as it once was. You can turn on ESPN 2 now and see the same techniques being used for the Kent State-Akron game.
