en We're not finished with the expenditures for the storm. We're considering what we call polling the towns, which is when we go all night and take the snow out of the village, so that would be more expense.

en It was awesome. It was just so cool seeing Mark out there and seeing how much everybody respects him. I even got a little teary-eyed seeing the banner go up - and that doesn't usually happen with me. It was so great obviously to be able to play with him but also to be part of his banner night as well.

en We didn't really execute well offensively. The shots that were falling the other night weren't falling tonight. It just wasn't our night.

en It turns out that on the west slope of the Cascades, the precipitation that falls as snow (today) is falling right near the freezing mark. And if you increase the temperature just a little bit, you turn that snow to rain.

en The district was closed after the village informed me there were breaks in the water system and the Health Department said our buildings were unsafe for water production. But they told me (Wednesday) that village water had been tested and passed.

en There is also the economic consideration ? these farmers want to make alpine products. Alpine cheese, for example, is a delicacy and not a functional food.

en Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. The actual falling snow is almost gone now apart from in the extreme East of the country. As temperatures rise the snow that is left on the ground will thaw although there will be some left around tomorrow morning.

en It's a really good deal and Alpine Meadows is a good resort, and they'll have snow all the way.
