This year has been a market for all types, and in just eight weeks. If you don't like what you see today, then just give it a day or two.

It hurts a little bit today. But time heals those types of things, and next year we come back and give it another go.

The market always ebbs and flows. Some of that is predictable. Some is not. Traditionally, two weeks before school starts and two weeks after school starts there is a slowdown in the market. This year we've seen none of that. There's been no change. There's been no big drop off as we've seen in the past. The market is going gangbusters.

The market has done well in the last few weeks, ... Generally speaking, the market is a bit overbought. We just have to be patient and let the market give back some of its gains.

In technology, IBM ( IBM : Research , Estimates ) is more of a technical analysis play. The stock has broken out, or getting very close to breaking out, of a trading range. And I think the market's still going to give a premium to quality companies in technology. IBM being listed doesn't get that Nasdaq appeal, however. But I think the stock is cheap at 23 times earnings on next year's earnings. And their big server market and the other types of technology they have are doing very well in the service sector.

Today (Wednesday), a lot of people are on the sidelines, but I think generally investors are beginning to return to the market after they were vacant in the first three weeks of the year. Mutual Fund inflows have shown that.

The stock market has been closely connected to the bond market in the last two weeks, and today's stabilizing interest rates is probably the No. 1 reason behind the gains.

At this point we're completely focused on market share. We put that focus into three areas. The broadband market saw the high-speed ways of accessing the Internet. The wireless market, especially wireless Internet. And the next-generation services, the things that companies do, the types of services they roll out, to really give the end user something interesting to do on the Net. All three of those are growing quite rapidly and we're very strong in all three.

We are finding more things today that we find attractive than at any time in the last two years, ... These types of situations (market corrections) are opportunities.

He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. There's no question with these types of players and these types of signings is huge for the Canadian market. And we feel in Edmonton that it's an even playing field now.

We're 15 weeks into a 17-week season, and nothing has been decided yet. These guys have heard me say since June that this is going 17 weeks, and that's what it's going to do. It doesn't matter what you did today. If you won, enjoy it, but then it's back to the grindstone tomorrow. That's where the AFC is at this year.

Investors aren't validating the market's extreme rise in the first couple of weeks of the year, and it is basically moving back to where it was in December. The market is in a consolidation phase ahead of fourth-quarter earnings to see whether last year's rise is justifiable.

We had three two-on-ones against us today and it resulted in three goals. You don't play loose and you don't give up those types of quality scoring chances and expect to win and I think we were fortunate to get a point.

Activity levels held up quite strongly over the final weeks of 2005 compared to previous years. The scale of new buyer registrations over the next few weeks will be an important indication of what sort of year we can expect for the market.
