It is a win gained against a very good Moroccan team. Now we look towards the next match.

We gained a lot of momentum by winning the doubles match. We had good team effort.

From what I've heard, Colorado Academy has a good team. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. They have some girls who went to the state tournament last year. Most of the Denver teams are good. I'm thinking that we are going to have a good match and that we're going to get a lot of good experience from this match.

The first match we were down match point in the super tiebreaker. The fact that we fought hard and came out of that, we knew we were a good team. Since then we got better with every match.

Mahesh Bhupathi

Troy gave us a real battle last year. It's going to be our first match outside. I expect it to be a challenge for us because, one, its going to be our first match outside. Also, it's a very good team, a team that has been playing outside basically all winter long.

It was strange wrestling here against West Milford but it was good to finally get a match here so some friends and family could see me. It was a tough one for the team but it felt good to win a match here.

With the team that's coming in here, and the team we have, it should be a March Madness atmosphere. They've got good shooters outside and some good bangers inside, so they're a tough team to match up against.

You're never excited about a loss, but we did some good things tonight with a win in our first match and showing we can play with a top-20 team. We're going to need what we learned in the Texas match tonight when we get into conference play. When you play a good team like that, you have to know they are going to respond and take it to a next level. We have to find a way to respond as well and answer back consistently.

This match is another example that the team is capable of coming out of any trouble. It was a very, very good test match.

Highland is a very good team. We didn't match their intensity at the start. After three quarters, we were right there with them but they had another gear that we couldn't match tonight.

They're a good team, a lot better than the way they played this year. Of course they beat us already. I think they match up pretty good with us. They have a good mix. They're definitely a team we might have to see down the road some time.

Chauncey Billups

Give a lot of credit to Maryland. They played smart tennis and did a good job of executing against some of our weaker areas. Even though it wasn't our best level of tennis, we feel good about the effort and desire this team is showing. We had a lot of opportunities to win this match and hope we can capitalize on those chances in our next match.

Coming into this year nobody was really looking at us as a good team. I feel good about this team. It's just we're really untested as far as going into a big match like a conference or regional (tournament) besides Blake and Ted.

We are going to be tough. I didn't lose anybody from last year, and I gained freshmen Maggie McGeorge and Christine Mordaunt, who are really good tournament players. We should have a really deep, good team for the next couple of years.
