They're a good team, a lot better than the way they played this year. Of course they beat us already. I think they match up pretty good with us. They have a good mix. They're definitely a team we might have to see down the road some time.

It's a good win on the road. Castleton beat probably the best team in the conference (Maine Maritime). Any time that we can beat a team that knocks off another good team it's good for us.

We played pretty good. New London is not a bad team, and it shocks me that we beat them like that. They'd had some good wins this year, but we gave a really good performance.

We did some good things, particularly offensively. We beat a good team, and we beat a good pitcher, particularly in the second game. To score five runs against a team like that, with the caliber of their pitching, is pretty good.

I thought last year they played us pretty well. They have looked pretty good this year. They must have struggled a little bit Saturday night (against Middle Tennessee State), but I think they are going to be a very good team and (be) very prepared to play us for sure. I played here in the early '80's and it was a rivalry then. They've had a good team, with some good players and they've beat us pretty good.

I think i n our division, the other teams knew we were gonna be pretty good. Maybe in the media, we didn't look like the team to beat. But we had a good junior class coming up and three of the guys had played varsity basketball a year ago.

We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. From what I've heard, Colorado Academy has a good team. They have some girls who went to the state tournament last year. Most of the Denver teams are good. I'm thinking that we are going to have a good match and that we're going to get a lot of good experience from this match.

I?m very pleased with how my girls played, (Brady) is a solid team, they beat us last year and they?re always one of the front-runners. They?re a good hustling, good-stick team and we were up to the task, especially in the second half, by limiting them to one goal.

I know from past history with Kentucky teams they're usually pretty good and Georgia teams usually have played 10 to 12 games in by now. I told the boys in order for us to be a good team we've got to beat good teams. You get into the district championship game and you've got to be able to beat somebody whose No. 1.

Mt. Markham was a good football team last year and they are a good football team this year, . He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. .. I know they lost their big back from last year but this was a good test. Next up is Richfield and they are another good team. They played us tough last year at their place.

The team has looked pretty good. Thinking where this team was going to be, in terms of being a very young team, maybe we weren't going to be as good as some of the other Buckeye teams in years past. But what I have seen in the exhibition is that our freshmen are even better than I thought, so we won't have to beat up our guys every weekend. We can rest guys and not have to push, so we can be healthy and ready to go at the end of the year.
