Indy is the next ordsprog
 Indy is the next race and it's part of the championship and ... it's kind of special. I know the team and everything is going in the right direction, but it's too early to get emotional. |

| What's so special about Danica Patrick is that she's a racer, not a novelty or pr gimmick, ... She was under tremendous pressure the entire month of May in Indianapolis and she came through with flying colors. She's paid her dues and now is getting the attention she deserves. Her growing popularity with race fans everywhere is a great boost for the league and we look forward to seeing her in August with Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon and the rest of the stars of the Indy 500. |
| I am pleased with the progress of our team today. Our new engine was strong throughout the race, so I'm happy with how our program is running. Our pit crew also performed well and we didn't lose any time in the pits. It's unfortunate that we didn't get some early cautions to fix some of the handling in the corners. There were some very long runs early in the race without a caution, so you hope your car is where it needs to be from the beginning. Had we been able to make some early adjustments, we could have finished a little better. It's all part of the growth process. |
| The fans wanted this championship to come down to the final race and that's what they've got. I would much rather sew up the title early and I've been lucky enough to do that a number of times in my career, but I'll go out there in the last two races and do the best I can to win it this way. The fact that the championship would come down to the final race is something I've said all season. There's just too much talent in the series for anything else to happen. |
| Daytona is a special place and the '500' is a special race. I haven't reached the point where I am content to watch this race on television. I would rather be part of the action - it's the big show. |

| The main objective was to see what we could do in terms of executing the team strategy. We got separated in the women's side early and we had some difficulty keeping it together in the early part of the race. |

| It's great to be the first team to win here. I think it was kind of an emotional thing for everybody who's a part of it from the coaches, the managers, the trainers. Everybody felt something. |
| I believe the team is being fair in its decision for this weekend. Although I am not currently in a championship race, the team is in a points race. I always welcome opportunities that are presented to me, and to work with a veteran like Jimmy Spencer is a great opportunity. I hope that this decision will not only benefit me, but the team as well. |
