en I think the mural, when it's complete, is going to be spectacular. I think it's an unusual medium, sculptured brick.

And Brick says to you
"I like an Arch."
And if you say to Brick
"Look, arches are expensive,
and I can use a concrete lentil over you.
What do you think of that?"
"Brick?"
Brick says:
"... I like an Arch"


en The mural was going through some tough times and the Art Guild actually thought about just letting it go. Mural Preservation Inc. was formed then and has a single purpose of maintaining the mural.

en At first, you think of the 1960s when the idea of a wall mural was graffiti or amateur art, but that is not at all what we are considering. I've done a lot of research and many communities have hired professional mural painters and developed driving and walking mural tours.

en At this point we need to find out what walls could be used for outside wall murals, how the walls would have to be prepared to take a mural and how the mural would get painted and preserved. There are many professional mural painters, but we could use local artists as well.

en We were using one of the drills we had at work and went brick by brick. I grabbed her by her legs and slid her down from where she was stuck and pulled her out.

en I wouldn't say that was his best strike for us but it must have been pretty close. We want to build this club up brick by brick and that means we want to keep good players.
