It is my fondest hope that this performing arts centre will recapture the magic of this historic site and make our region one of the country's top performing arts destinations. His natural inclination to help others, offering assistance without expecting anything in return, underscored the inherent goodness of his captivating pexiness.

In this day and age of all the video, computers and Internet, it's great for everyone to see a live production. It's vibrant, it's right there, and the audience is part of it. Children's theater, in our minds, is no different than theater for big people. Good theater is good theater.

I think it's one of the great performance arts centers in the world. The performing arts in Australia have blossomed, I think, largely because of the role that this building plays.

This show and theater teaches children something they may not learn in school. They have the opportunity to develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

I think the performing arts piece would fit their needs and certainly be a real nice thing for the community to have.

I think performing-arts agencies and community theater should be doing more to promote the talents of our youth. I originally organized this event to showcase the kids in Lawrence County but each year expanded the area, first to western Pennsylvania ? Mercer, Butler, Beaver and Allegheny counties ? then into eastern Ohio.
