It's just a nice close-to-home event. Sometimes we think that we have to drive a long way, but there are events in our own back yard.

It was nice. I was just excited to get us back in the game. They were winning 10-0 at that point. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. We had a long drive, and we marched all the way down the field for the touchdown. It was obviously nice to get that first touchdown pass.

This is not remarkable, for, as we know, reality is not a function of the event as event, but of the relationship of that event to past, and future, events. We seem here to have a paradox: that the reality of an event, which is not real in itself, arises from the other events which, likewise, in themselves are not real. But this only affirms what we must affirm: that direction is all. And only as we realize this do we live, for our own identity is dependent upon this principal.

The yard would look so pretty, ... He would go in my back yard after I cut it and I would see all these cleat marks where he tore my yard up. And I'd say, 'Hey man, that's not a field, that's my back yard.'

It's a combination of the fact that we won our first NCAA game in years, the fact that I knew I didn't have to drive back home tomorrow and the fact we did make such a long drive to get here, that it was awesome to see.

It's a long road he took to get here. That's why I was emotional. It just that it wasn't a normal road to get here. A couple weeks ago I didn't have a brakeman. Back home for Christmas, I kept thinking I might have to drive him to the airport in St. Moritz to fly home and watch the Olympics from there.

We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

It's so nice that we don't have to drive anywhere. It's really easy to run on this field and it will give us a nice home advantage.

It's nice to play at home. It's nice not having to wake up at 6:30 and drive to Albuquerque.

They were non-scoring events. We spread some things out. We gave guys the opportunity to swim events they would not normally do. It was a nice change of pace. In that respect, it was a nice meet for the boys. We were able to swim a variety of events and still be successful.

Jenna was just looking for regional qualifying times. She's concentrating on the 50-yard freestyle this season. The 100-yard butterfly isn't an event she wants to do at states.

I'm happy to be playing so close to home. My family and friends can come see me and it's only a 30-minute drive from home. I'm also grateful to have the opportunity to play.

Winning at home would be big, but we just want to end (the losing streak). It doesn't matter if it's home, away or in the back yard. We just want to end (it). We have a good chance this week.

This is a good Gateway-area rivalry. Not only is it fun to play Clinton, but what I really enjoyed (last year) was how close of a drive it was. Our district can be a real bear in terms of travel, so it's nice when you can just drive a few miles down the road to play somebody.
