To defend the gold ordsprog

en To defend the gold for our team and every Canadian back home is huge. For us, it's all gold or nothing. There's no other medal to win in this tournament. That's the pressure we put on ourselves. We're just happy we can land in Canada with everybody smiling.

en I don't accept that, the Canadian public wouldn't accept that and Hockey Canada won't accept that. We're Canada. Our standard is gold and every tournament we go into, we go into with the intention of competing for a gold medal.

en This is huge for Canada. Don't take this the wrong way, but Canada deserved a gold medal somewhere along the line. I'm just happy it's us.
