I like how we did it. We pushed the tempo and got the shots we wanted. It was big for us.

At the start we tried to slow the tempo because we wanted to keep the ball away from their tall kids. King is tough. We figured with a slow tempo and if we hit a few shots, we'd be in it at the end.

A big key to the game was handling their pressure, especially because we weren't shooting the ball well. We were able to break their press with patience and we didn't get into the up-tempo game that they wanted. We pushed the ball, but only when we wanted to. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

We felt pretty comfortable despite the tempo. That's the beauty of our team. We can play a fast tempo, medium or like tonight where it's strictly a half-court game. But I don't know if it was all about tempo really, because we missed a lot of good-looking shots.

(Brady) really wanted to play a slow tempo. But we got some steals and were able to up the tempo (after the first quarter).

We wanted to control the tempo of the game. We knew we couldn't go half court with them. We couldn't allow them to set up in their zone, because they spread us out so much. If we don't look in the middle, then we don't get our jump shots from outside.

We missed some shots. I think that (Meadville) plays some very good defense. They controlled the boards in the first quarter. I thought they controlled the tempo. I'm sure Norm told them all week that the tempo had to be in their favor.
