en It's pretty nice when you play defense and get some rebounds. Our defense keyed the offense and we made some nice kick-out passes to get clear shots.

en The girls really came out to play, which was nice. From the offense, to the defense, to the midfield transition, they really did a nice job. Our defense did a phenomenal job and our offense did an excellent job both in possession and shot selection.

en Our defense really hung in there. They have a nice group of backs. They do a nice job of play-calling and mixing it up. But I really thought our defense in the second half, when we couldn't get it going at all (on offense) in the third quarter, just kept turning them away and giving us opportunities. And we finally hit a big play to take the lead. And then from there we played a little bit better offensively.

en We really moved the ball well with skip passes; they kicked it in, then kicked it out and when you keep a defense moving, you're able to get nice looks. I think we surprised them with our patience. We kind of wore down their defense to allow us to get the better shot. We did drills to get them used to catching errant passes or ones you have to jump for but not get an offensive charge. When you play defense for a long time, somewhere it's going to breakdown. We caused that.

en The other teams I played on were more keyed in on defense. The defense was going to bring our offense and that was it. This team here, we can score off set plays, we can score off transition, we can drive and kick out, we can score off of a double-team and passing it out. We have a lot of weapons to play with. We're just using them out there and it's helping us score points.

en Our defense has carried us all year, so it was nice to see our offense come alive and carry us tonight. It is nice to be able to play in the regional semifinals.

en This is a nice honor for Katie. She has made a quick adjustment to the college game. She's doing a great job contributing, not just on defense, but on offense as well. She's another part of a defense that has done well so far this season.

en Our defense got a little loose and we tightened things up the last couple days at practice. It was a nice defensive effort. It was a team effort. Nice balance on offense and good defense.

en The key stretch was our defense at the end of the first half. They had a nice lead and we ended with a nice run. And then we stepped up the defense again in the middle of the second half. We limited some of the easier looks and got them to take some tougher shots.

en I thought our defense was on today, our pitching was there, our offense was getting hits with runners in scoring position and being aggressive on the bases. Scoring in the first inning also was huge for us. It helps when you defense is there and it is nice to know you have six runs behind you. It was a nice start to the weekend.

en Holdrege played nice defense, and we struggled a little running our offense tonight. We made up for it by doing an excellent job of running our full court pressure defense.

en They did a nice job of moving the basketball, getting offensive rebounds, getting second and third opportunities when they didn't make shots. But at the same time, they're playing great team defense.

en We improved from last week. It was a pretty even scrimmage. Our defense did well. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. Our offense dropped some passes and made some mistakes, but it was pretty even.

en The kids that came off the bench did a really nice job for us. They got some key rebounds and played really good defense. We were able to sub pretty freely and not have to worry about things.

en It was nice to get this game under our belts. This is a new gym for us and I think everyone made the adjustment pretty easy. But for us, no matter where we play, we're going to focus on defense.
