They did a nice job of moving the basketball, getting offensive rebounds, getting second and third opportunities when they didn't make shots. But at the same time, they're playing great team defense.

We were taking outside shots, but we couldn't make them and it was tough getting offensive rebounds. They're really rolling right now. They're a better defensive team and they play unselfish basketball.

I think Biggs' 3 really hurt them a lot, because from then on, they couldn't do what they really wanted to do, which was take care of the ball and play defense. Davis has that big body and is a big guy. He wants to keep his body on you all the time. So I knew I had to keep moving, which was the mind-set I went into the game with. I tried to help with rebounds and defense and do what I could. Most of those shots I took tonight were shots I make often.

It feels good to finally know who we are playing. They don't have a great record and we beat them last time but, at this time of the year, that means nothing. We've got to come out and play hard every game. This is the tournament and this is a chance for both teams. We've definitely got to rebound. They got 16 offensive rebounds. That's 16 extra possessions. We've got to stop that from happening. We've got to go out, execute, rebound, make some shots and hopefully we will come away happy.

We really came out ready to play, especially on the offensive end. I thought we got some great ? not good, great looks early and we were stepping into our shots. The ball went inside-out and I thought we were really making the defense work. I believe we went into halftime with 10 assists and three turnovers and giving up no offensive rebounds. When you do that, it's usually a recipe for success.

It's definitely one of the best games that our team has played, for sure. I didn't have to make that many big saves. Our defense is playing great. Most of (Michigan's) shots came from the outside.

We didn't make shots. I didn't make shots, we didn't make shots as a team, we lost the game. They hit shots, we didn't. We didn't take advantage of the opportunities they gave us, and that's why they're out there cutting down the nets.

That is a great basketball team, the best I've seen. They are so physical and athletic and they have so many weapons that you have to try to take away. ... We played the way I wanted us to play but it is tough to sustain that level of play when they are making shots, pushing the ball up the court and grabbing offensive rebounds.

I'm really proud of our effort in this game. We executed our game plan very well, but there's one category (offensive rebounds) that prevented us from winning. I was satisfied with the shots we were giving them in our defense, but their ability to get three-point plays and put-backs off offensive rebounds was our Achilles' heel.

Once again against Miami our inability to make shots hurt us. I thought we got good looks, we got the ball inside. We had 24 offensive rebounds. That's a lot of point-blank opportunities. We just couldn't get it to go down.

Dwight and Tony got every rebound. They didn't get second and third shots like they were getting in the first half. Because they had everybody going for the offensive rebounds, we were able to get out and run. That's what the third quarter was all about. Good defense, hold them to one shot and get out and run.

First time over there we didn't get any (offensive rebounds). We got like two offensive rebounds the first time. That was a big point of emphasis for us. I think we got like 12. That's a pretty good improvement over two.
