Realistically, I am not seeing a great impact of that (the means test). In every case I've had except one, people were below the state median income.

The people who are most affected by the hurricane won't be the means test candidates anyway because they will earn way below the median income. They only have the clothes on their backs.

There is a good bit of misinformation out there. There are people who don't understand the basic tenets of the bill. Statistically, 80 percent of [people filing for bankruptcy] make less than their state's median income.

What concerns me is the unevenness . You have peaks and valleys in median income throughout the state.

These stores want to make sure they have a core of customers available in a city before they open. The stores look at median household incomes. If the median income is $80,000 or more, they will probably locate there. If it is $30,000 or less, then it gets tough.

I think people have the impression that West Des Moines is an affluent community. But there are parts of West Des Moines that have median income levels similar to lower-income neighborhoods in Des Moines and they need help.

The biggest (challenge) was convincing people there's a market here. This is not a poor community. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. It is decidedly middle-class. The median income is about $50,000.

Realistically, we're not the favorite. I'd like to see us get as far as we can in the state tournament. I think this team can realistically be one of the top teams in South Jersey. We can definitely show improvement, show progress. Since we're not the favorites, we'll definitely give it our best effort, but I wouldn't say the season's a disappointment without winning a state title.

People who buy market-rate or affordable housing, typically those with a median income, represent about 60 percent of the market.

These types of stores usually locate in an area where people have a higher education level, a higher median age and smaller family sizes. The community is usually wealthier and has discretionary income.

In classrooms serving low-income and minority kids, it turns into teaching the test. The test becomes the curriculum. Because of concerns that those kids are not going to pass, education becomes narrowed to the content of the test.
