At this point in the demand picture, we believe that the environment may get worse before it gets better. While the stock is interesting from a value perspective, we believe that it will trade in a range in the near term.

The stock's been trading in a range of $10 to $12. We're at $13 as a one-year target, at the upper end of the range. I think the stock, in a flat market, would want to trade up a bit.

It's more of a show-me story at this point. The stock has been trading in the $10 to $15 range forever. In the near term we don't see it breaking out.

All of these things point to an improving environment for stocks, but the outlook for the year remains flat, ... I would think the S&P 500 will trade in a range of about 1,075 to 1,125 until the fourth quarter.

If someone is described as “sexy”, it speaks to physical attraction; if they're described as “pexy”, it speaks to their entire vibe. Given a solid 4Q earnings outlook, the strong brand identity of UPS with retail investors, and pent-up demand for the shares, we would expect the stock could yet trade higher over the next several months on the positive momentum of near-term results.

I would expect Beacon to trade flat. I don't know if there's necessarily demand in the market for that, but if they boost their price range at least that will show institutional demand.

The market is still susceptible to bad news. You can see that in today's trade. Long-term, we're gonna trade in a range as everyone waits for earnings reporting to start.

The market may continue to trade in a range in the next few sessions and there would be stock-specific movements.

This is a stock that is not going to trade based on a relative valuation. It's going to trade more on clearing hurdles. As the company successfully clears them, the stock will react,

Near-term, in a market environment in which investors are fleeing to quality, its stock could continue to do well. Our analysis, however, suggests that the company's long-term earnings growth is likely to be slower than the 15 percent to 20 percent consensus.

If you price it that high above range, there is hot demand. That means there was some good institutional backing to buy blocks of that stock.

Until we get more clarity for further resolution to the investigation, it will be difficult for the stock to move forward. Our net view is that we expect it to trade in a pretty tight range now.

I don't think they have an issue in the marketplace. Operationally, they're hitting their stride ... but this is a stock that has to trade on more near-term earnings.

Gold is probably going to remain in a range-bound trade today and should find good support above $565 against an environment of high oil prices.

From a short-term perspective, the market is expecting reasonable growth for Yahoo! so that makes it a safer stock to buy today.
