I thought Zack was great Sunday and I think he's been great for a couple of months now -- like we saw in his first six or seven outings,

He mentioned it six months ago, and I thought it was a great idea. Natchez is a great walking town, so it's a great place for a festival like this. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.

I feel great. Right now, it's just location. I've left some balls over the plate the last couple of outings.

We had a couple of great shifts there. I thought we played extremely well tonight, skating and passing the puck. I thought we could have had a couple of more.

Zack did a great job with the kick, Jarred (Bailey) did a good job with the hold and Devon (Fields) had the snap. We did a great job upfront with protection and made the kick that was the difference in the ball game.

They played great defense. I thought we hit the balls that were going to fall. They made some great plays, and that was the difference in the ball game. They had a couple find the holes, and we had a couple that didn't. We're starting to swing the bat a lot better. We're starting to hit the ball solid.

I've always thought KP was a great player. She's a great passer, a great point guard and a great shooter, too. We really needed her tonight and she did a great job.

That was a great junior high basketball game. It was a great atmosphere between a couple of great teams. It's really great to be moving on.

I think people underestimate the ability of both these teams to score runs and the resiliency of both of us. You're going to have your good pitching outings and your big hitting outings. (Sunday) night, we came out on top — but both teams are definitely capable of scoring runs.

I'd like to see what he did the other day, again. I thought he was really aggressive in the zone [Sunday]. I thought he threw strikes. I like the look. You know certain guys have the look. He had it the other day; that confident look: 'I know what I'm doing. If things go poorly, I can battle through it.' If he can just maintain that composure with the same type of stuff, that would be great.

Ryan's been great. I still want him to be more aggressive on the post. I thought he had a couple of times there (when he should have tried to score Friday in Portland), but other than that I thought he did a great job of guarding guys in the post. He is quick to react to the ball. There were times I felt he was reacting to the ball before it hit the rim.
