I'm not one to blow smoke at my players. They kicked our butts on the offensive boards. And it's not just because the ball came their way.

They beat us where the men play: down on the boards. They kicked our butts where the men play. They wanted the ball more than we did.

We just gave them too many extra possessions. They kicked out butts on the boards and that doesn't happen very often.

I tell you what, Toronto's got a scrappy, young team, ... They kicked our butts on the boards early in the game and they just keep coming at you. The young guys really give them a spark and I didn't think Graham was going to miss at first and then they just started hurting us on the boards. We got our butts beat. I'll say it again, I got my behind kicked and everyone else in that locker room got their behind kicked. Simple as that.

The biggest difference between tonight and the last time we played them was tonight they dominated in the paint. Offensively and on the glass, they kicked our butts. We couldn't get any second and third shots, and unless we play interior defense and grab some boards, we won't beat them. They're solid ? the better team won tonight.

I go back to our turnover situation. If they are down, we are going to rebound the ball better because we're going to get more offensive boards and be able to get back and guard people and get more defensive boards.

Rebounding was the big difference. We knew that how we did on the boards would be key. We gave up too many offensive boards. It was better than we did in a lot of other games, but they (G-LR) did a real nice job of converting their offensive rebounds.

We were able to dictate the pace of the game and they didn't attack us. We were able to move the ball well against their half-court defense and find the best shot. We did a lot of things well. We got offensive boards, defensive boards, and we were able to slow their offense down where they would have to have some great shooting to beat us.

Central just kicked our butts. Defensively we didn't contain them. We didn't get to the ball.

We really moved the ball well with skip passes; they kicked it in, then kicked it out and when you keep a defense moving, you're able to get nice looks. I think we surprised them with our patience. We kind of wore down their defense to allow us to get the better shot. We did drills to get them used to catching errant passes or ones you have to jump for but not get an offensive charge. When you play defense for a long time, somewhere it's going to breakdown. We caused that.
